Harper Lewis || Age: 19 || Sexuality: Straight || Taken || Lower class (slave)

Preferred ships: Any

Bio: (Bio was written by player) Quiet, that was one of the only things people could say about her if they didn’t actually know Harper. Even before her mother and younger brother died, Harper was a quiet and private child. The few years that she attended school before her mother decided to home school her was filled with time spent alone; never really having many friends or any at all for that matter. At home she wasn’t much different, she was always soft spoken, except for the rare occasions that something got her riled up though she tried to avoid bringing any sort of attention to herself. Her father had been out of her life since the birth of her brother, running off with some woman after having an affair. The only man Harper had ever had to look up to was her mother’s brother who often lived with them, though he was often drunk. She grew up in this rather broken home, locked away inside herself, until the Chaos took over and she ran.

If you were to ask her how exactly her mother, uncle and brother died, Harper would not tell you. It wasn’t that she couldn’t or didn’t remember, she just simply did not want to acknowledge anything about her life before now. Looking back wouldn’t help her. Everything before she met Katie was simply like something out of one of the stories Katie told her, a very terrible story. Since then they have been inseparable, taking the same last name and passing themselves off as sisters. There is nothing that Harper would not do for the other girl, going to great lengths to help them both, knowing that without Katie, she probably would have gone insane at the loss of her family.

Natalie Strange || Age: 21 || Sexuality: Straight || Taken || Lower Class

Preferred ships: Any

Bio: (original character. Bio was created by the player) Originally born with the last name Stern in Boston, Massachusetts, Natalie changed her name to Strange in an attempt to move on after the plague claimed the lives of her parents and little sister. She left the city along with other survivors, and headed for what was left of New York, which was slowly becoming what is now known as Acirema. She was shuffled into the lower class upon her arrival, and spent the last two years in the gates as a slave. Upon her twenty-first birthday, she was released into the middle class and has spent the last several months working in the hospital to earn points.

Natalie is a quiet person usually, but isn’t afraid to talk to people and try and make friends. She chose the job at the hospital because she enjoys taking care of others and wanted to be a doctor when she was younger. She’s currently trying to make the best of her life in her middle class apartment, and while it’s not the best, she realizes that things could be worse. Natalie has a history of slipping supplies and medicine through cracks in the gates, but has only been caught and whipped by the government once.

Melody Locke || Age: 18 || Sexuality: Up to Rper || Open || Lower Class

Preferred ships: Any

Bio: Unlike her sister, Melody remembers everything of her family life before Acirema. She remembers the parents that raised them along with their younger brother, Troy, their large house and perfectly kept back yard, the way the lawn grew out too long when their father was sick and Troy tried to mow it with his plastic lawn mower. Melody remembers trying to find ways to explain to him that mommy and daddy didn’t have the flu like normal people, and that they weren’t going to wake up. But that was too hard for a 10 year old to do, though she tried. It had been Avery that eventually told him, Avery that held her hand and told her it’d be okay, Avery that took them out of the house and lead them together through the chaos. Avery was all more serious, Troy always curious, and Melody always the light. Sunshine, as Avery called her. She was always smiling, always ready to push their problems away and assure her siblings the sun would come out.

More importantly, she remembers the face of the rioter that shot her little brother, and the confused look on his face while she sat next to him and Avery rocked him close to her chest. And the chaos that followed after that; rioters in the area they were in were hard to come by anymore, years into the chaos and yet somehow the three Locke children had gotten caught up in the middle of it. Melody had tried to hold Avery away when Troy finally died, but there was no stopping her, and her older sister charged directly at the rioter who had killed him. They were separated, torn apart by flames and gun shots and clouds of people and Melody never saw her again. A pack of kids that she met alone the way, lead by a boy named Wesley, found her on their way to Acirema and let her come along with them.

Melody is finally finding her spirit again, after the presumed death of her entire family. Her heart is broken but she refuses to be anything but the person her siblings knew her as. Like the rest of the kids that arrived with Wesley, she’s fairly new to the gates, not having been there for years like some of the other slaves. Melody isn’t stupid by any means, and doesn’t seek trouble, but her outgoing and friendly nature can sometimes turn into quick wit, and her pent up anger towards her siblings deaths comes out if someone pushes the right buttons which gets her into trouble from time to time. She wasn’t at all expecting to see Avery come through Acirema, positive that she was dead and refusing to allow her usually optimistic self to believe otherwise. But Mel has seen people fight to get their siblings out of the gates, seen the hell that the upper classes put them through for it. She refuses to let Avery be a victim to that, and therefore won’t do anything to jog her sister’s lost memory. Melody misses her sister with ever fiber of her being, but is doing everything in her power to see to it that Avery never finds out who she is until she is free and clear of the gates herself.

Avery Locke || Age: 21 || Sexuality: Up to Rper || Open || Middle Class

Preferred ships: Any

Bio: Avery. It was the name etched into the metal of the bracelet she was wearing when she came to. Avery only assumed it was her name because she couldn’t think of any other reason it would be on her wrist. She was right in her assumption, but even then she couldn’t be sure. Avery knows nothing of her life before that very moment. She woke up in an old abandoned building, bruised and beaten within an inch of her life, her head heavy. There was no one around, no sign of how she got there or what had happened, only a body full of aches and nothing but a blur where her memories should be. Avery doesn’t have any idea where she came from. She doesn’t know of her family from Los Angeles, her two younger siblings, one of which died in her own arms. There’s nothing left of her memory of their home, the parents they lost to the plague, or even the name she should look for to find them. She doesn’t even know they existed.

All Avery knows is what she is and what she has. And that is nothing. Nameless, with nothing but the clothes on her back she began wandering the streets around where she woke up. She soon found out it was somewhere near the New York and Connecticut border. The more she wandered, she began to hear of a city called Acirema. It was broadcasted about over a radio she walked by, mumbled about by two young boys she stopped. It seemed to be the place people were going and so she went there. It wasn’t as though she had anything she was leaving behind, and she had answered to get.

Once in Acirema, when it was discovered she was 21, Avery was tossed 100 points and told to fend for herself. It’s been a couple of weeks and she’s earned enough for middle class housing. She’s worked at the brothel until she got enough money and then quit to work at the market, not wanting to do much selling herself given that she only had herself to support. What Avery doesn’t know, is that the only know survivor of the rest of her family, her sister Melody, is under 21 and in the gates, afraid to tell her of their connection. Avery wants to find out more about where she came from and what happened, though she doesn’t know who to ask. She’s beginning to realize if she wants access to anything important or official, she’s going to need more points.

Bradley Rose || Age: 33 || Sexuality: Up to Rper || Open || Upper Class

Preferred ships: Any

Bio: Bradley was adopted, brought up by parents who had always wanted a son. The Roses spoiled him and doted on him, playing pass with him in the yard and baking cookies for every friend he brought over to play. Though that wasn’t many friends. Bradley was never well liked as a child. While most kids with a lot of friends had low self esteem, his problem was that he had too much. Always feeling superior to everyone he came in contact with, Bradley often thought himself above the younger children, even at a young age. If a child answered their questions in class wrong, he deemed them to stupid to speak with, and if their clothes were not perfectly ironed and matched they were not well kept enough for him to keep company with. It took a while for his parents to notice the complex he had, and even then they were too afraid that there could be something wrong with him to have him see a therapist, though they assumed a lot of his superiority to be a combined result of arrogance and an odd case of ocd.

After high school, Bradley went on to study at Oxford, wanting to break away from all the “little people” around him. He considered it a nuisance when his parents called him home for holidays, deeming their devote desire to speak with him at least once a week a weakness and an irritation. Love and passion being among other things that Bradley saw as imperfections. He studied so that his work was impeccable. Always unable to have roommates that didn’t leave, though he didn’t mind that. Professors loved him and his work though Bradley eventually dropped out of the university after his second year because he didn’t agree with paying someone not as smart as him to teach him things he already knew. He stayed in England, reading and working on his own doing medical research and studying biology. It always bothered Bradley that so many things were uncured and made him feel incompetent that he couldn’t find resolutions to age old problems, regardless of how irrational that would seem to the normal person.

He came home when his mother fell ill with the plague for the first time in almost three years. Doctors all over the world had been trying to find a way to cure the sickness and Bradley decided he would be more than up for the challenge. He spent months at his mother’s bedside, driving himself crazy until eventually one of the treatments he thought up resulted in her death. Furious, Bradley left his home, never to go back or touch a medical research book again. The plague took a majority of the population, and he rode out the chaos at the top of a small apartment building that he perfected, believing that anyone who ran or rioted or had to fight for survival was simple weak or fractured. Once in Acirema, Bradley saw the government system as another challenge, a way to prove that once again, people were below him. He climbed the ranks of the system, punishing those he had to and working as a guard to earn enough points. Now he does office work for the government from time to time, filling his work quota without having to do too much. He isn’t completely fond of the Tower families because he believes them all to be too flawed and not as they should be to hold their positions, but he also holds their same condescending outlook towards the lower classes, this society being much more welcome to his attitude than the one he was brought up in.

Toxin 17 sickness Deterioration vs. Cure

Carries of the tx17 sickness can begin showing signs of weakness, fatigue, dizzy spells, and headaches for about a weak before the full effects of the sickness kick in.

Full symptoms look much like a flu and include high fever, vomiting, occasionally severe stomach or head pain, weakness.. ect.

Symptoms grow worse over time, the sickness taking it’s full effect after two weeks since symptoms first show. By the end of the second week, the sickness persists worse and the fever rises further making it deadly within a few days following.

Toxin 17 is used to cure the sickness it dulls symptoms on ingestion to about half of their severity over the course of two days. By the end of the second day it should be cleared completely.

After the second day, half a bottle of the Toxin needs to be consumed every 3 days. If this does not happen, symptoms will come back at their full force,  (however not the severe stages), and also include signs of withdrawal involving shakiness, weakness, and dizzy spells. This will persist for another 3 days before the sickness becomes deadly again.

Okay, officially putting up the next batch of bios tonight

Again, sorry for the delay. FC suggestions anyone?

So far tonight you will probably see:

In the year 2000 a great plague swept Northern America. Millions fell sick, fled to other countries and died. For several years the world fell to havoc. Cities were torn apart, survivors of the plague were set to rebuild their country on their own. What resulted was a very small city, run by The New Order government. The classes are divided, the lowest being slaves, the middle finding their place, and the highest trying to stay on top and gain power in a world where power is everything. This city is known as Acirema.

Upcoming bios include the following face claims:

If anyone has any FC requests they’d like bios made for as well, please let me know. Specifying which class you’d prefer them in would be best as well.

**Also as a note: There’s been a lot of talk in the RP community about having characters with bios up to the player. If we have any characters like this, it is simply because they are connected to someone else so there is a specific FC and class we want for them and the rest can be entirely up to you. It’s like.. a partial OC if you will. If you wish to apply for one of these characters but are totally stuck on a bio or want some help, we’re more than happy to do that or to prewrite it for you.

Anonymous asked:
Who do you really need?

Hmmmm…. honestly, it doesn’t matter too much. Any bios that I’ve posted, I’m attached enough to the character that I really want to see them filled. It would depend if you’re looking for a boy or girl. For guys, I’d love to see one of the Mason brother’s filled since we don’t have anyone from their family. Darren is great and can do a lot plotwise because he’s kind of an ass hole but I’m aware some people don’t like playing the not so nice characters. If that were the case, I also really enjoy Wesley and would like to see that plot line played out. I want to add more people that are connected to his story but am trying to hold off until he’s filled.

If you’d rather a girl, any of them are fine. They’re all fairly equal in terms of what we need.
